Let’s talk about
somatic sexology
Somatic sexology is a body-centered approach to sex education and therapy that draws from the Greek word soma, meaning body. It integrates mental, emotional, and physical experiences to support individuals and couples in exploring and enhancing their sexual well-being through embodied awareness and connection.
Core Aspects of Somatic Sexology
Body awareness: Tuning into physical sensations, breath, movement, and touch.
Consent and boundaries: Practicing clear communication around touch and emotional comfort.
Nervous system regulation: Helping people feel safe and grounded during sexual exploration.
Sex-positive education: Supporting women of all ages in an open and explorative way.
Embodiment practices: Using tools like breathwork, mindful movement, or guided touch exercises to reconnect with pleasure and presence.
Benefits of Somatic Sexology:

What to Expect in a Session
Each session is client-led and tailored to your unique needs, creating a supportive space for exploration and growth. Depending on your goals, we may incorporate talk therapy, meditation, breathwork, drumming, somatic self-connection practices, and education. These tools offer practical, actionable steps to support meaningful change—always approached with compassion and without resistance.
While sessions are non-touch, they are deeply rooted in energetic and emotional shifts. We work with your body’s natural rhythms, including the different phases of the menstrual cycle, acknowledging how your experience of sex, pleasure, and desire can evolve over time. Whether you're navigating longer cycles, fertility challenges, or the emotional complexities of sex when trying to conceive, sessions are designed to help you reconnect with yourself and move toward your goals with clarity and empowerment.
